Thames Valley Sling Babies is an informal group for carers of young children to learn and share experience about using soft fabric carriers (slings) to hold or transport their babies and toddlers for comfort, safety or convenience. We are a not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers.
We currently hold Slingmeets at Battle Library on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. We will be there from 11am until 12.45pm. Battle Library also holds an excellent and popular Singalong session for parents and under 5s, which starts at 10.30am.
It is possible to park in the Tesco main car park for an hour or there is plenty of 2 hour street parking on Kensington Road, which can be easily reached from Oxford Road.
During Spring, Summer and Autumn, we also hold Saturday Slingwalks at Dinton Pastures in Winnersh.
We welcome both new and experienced babywearers and are happy to demo slings for mums to be and their families.
